The Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) This site has many pages that are extremely important to read, if you are considering buying your first Aussie. I would recommend you read the "Prospective Owner" pages on this site. There you will find more information on what to look for in an Aussie, as well as how to select a breeder.

The American Kennel Club (AKC) This page is linked directly to the Australian Shepherd page of the AKC.

Worldwide Aussie Breeders This is one of the largest listing of Australian Shepherd breeders that I know of worldwide. This page lists breeders by location.

Australian Shepherd Club of San Diego County This site has links to Aussie breeders, show information, and a variety of other Aussie related information.

Aussie Rescue in Southern California This rescue website has some wonderful Aussies in Southern California that need new homes. It also has information about the breed. Rescue volunteers are networking to help Aussies and Aussie Mixes find new homes.

Australian Shepherd Health & Genetics Institute This is the best authority I have seen on the possible genetic health problems of Australian Shepherds. Additional health information is available on the ASCA link above.
